Local printers to participate in German exhibition

Drupa, the world-leading trade fair for print and cross-media, will take place in Dusseldorf, Germany, from May 31 to June 10, 2016.

It is more important than ever that Ghanaian printers have an overview of the latest technologies and are also inspired to use new business models and solutions. Drupa is the only specialist trade fair in the world to offer this opportunity.

Approx 1,800 exhibitors and 315,000 experts from 130 countries including Ghana are expected in Dusseldorf, Germany, for more Print Technology revolving around Packaging Production, Multichannel, Green Printing, 3D Printing and Functional Printing in all their complexity. This is where big businesses take place, worldwide innovations are presented, and valuable contacts are made.

Mr. Bellot Brahima of Trade Fair Services Gh. Ltd., the country’s representative of Messe Dusseldorf GmbH — organisers of Drupa, speaking on Drupa 2016 said the exhibition will enable printers to experience how the impressive technologies of tomorrow will move the print media industry and drive it to develop an appeal of its own.

He therefore urged every reliable individual or corporate entity in the printing industry to try and be part of the future story of Drupa, which commences from May 31, 2016.

Since the event is taking place in Dusseldorf, Germany, some participants will need an entry visa to the Federal Republic of Germany.

Mr. Brahima said he is convinced the German Embassy will issue visas to every legitimate printer and enable them to participate in Drupa 2016.

He however warned against late applications, which he said might hinder the whole process.

Mr. Brahima also said that Trade Fair Services Gh. Ltd. is ever-ready to furnish applicants with every important information, as well as assist them in every possible manner before during and after Drupa 2016 in order to make their participation in the event as exciting and memorable as possible.
