MTN rewards Callertunez winners

 

MTN Ghana, at a short ceremony in Accra, has presented prizes to winners of the MTN Callertunez promotion that was launched in November 2015.

Guido Sopiimeh, Chief Marketing Officer of MTN, said the promotion’s objective was two pronged: to reward on a weekly and monthly basis valued customers who downloaded more Callertunez of their choice, and also reward the artiste whose song was the most downloaded during the promo period.

The promo attracted over 16 million subscriber,s but the company is seeking to attract 10 million permanent subscribers to the Callertunez product. “We understand the needs of our customers and promise to satisfy our customers’ demands,” he said.

Caller Pingback Tones (CRBT) are the selected songs callers on the other side listen to instead of the beep or ringing. Since the promotion started, MTN had rewarded two monthly and 13 weekly winners, receiving GH¢10,000 and GH¢2,000 respectively.

“Today, we are here to present the prize of GH¢30,000 to the ultimate winner of the MTN Caller Tunez promo, and also reward the artiste with highest songs downloaded by the customers.”

The winner, Andrews Danyo, a Teaching Assistant of the Kwame Nkrumah of Science and Technology (KNUST) said: “I never knew the promo was real and true, but now I have come to the realisation that all what MTN is canvassing for in relation to the Caller Tunez Promo is the biggest truth I have ever experienced”.
