Absa Group executives have been in the country to promote the significance of the Group’s Ghana operations, to its strategy of being a leading bank in Africa.
The Group’s Chief Executive, Arrie Rautenbach, led a group of senior executives as part of the delegation to the country.
During his two-day visit, Rautenbach engaged in a series of high-level discussions. He met with Ghana’s President, Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo, Finance Minister Ken Ofori-Atta, and Second Deputy Governor of the Bank of Ghana, Elsie Addo Awadzie. These meetings emphasised Absa’s commitment to Ghana’s growth and development, highlighting the bank’s appreciation for the support of these institutions to its operations.
The visiting delegation’s agenda also included focused interactions with Absa colleagues. In an evening spent engaging and networking with them, Rautenbach reiterated the importance of the Group’s commitment to the bank’s success.
