Accra City Hotel poised to lead….

Accra City Hotel, formerly known as Novotel, has pledged its commitments to delight customers through innovation and exciting new services and facilities.

The new name, Accra City Hotel — according to managers of the facility, was chosen to reflect the hotel’s central location in the heart of the nation’s capital and the city’s busiest market centre, as it seeks to reclaim its place in the country hotel business.

General Manager of the Hotel Roman Krabel, speaking at a cocktail meeting with clients in Accra, explained that the hotel is now well-positioned to reclaim its place as the first international four-star hotel in the country.

“We want to thank our partners, clients and customers who have done business with us for the last 25 years as Novotel, and we want to assure them that with our new name of Accra City Hotel we are going to delight them with more exciting services and innovations,” Mr. Krabel added.

Since its rebranding as Accra City Hotel, the facility has undergone different phases of facelift as part of steps to position it to serve customers better.

The Sales and Marketing Manager of Accra City Hotel, Yaw K. Mamphey, said as part of aggressive measures to make a difference in the hotel industry, the hotel has not only improved its ambience and environment but also employed the service of seasoned professionals to improve customer service and drive growth.

“One of the things we are also looking at is expanding our restaurant business, as well as to renovate the swimming pool and landscaping of the hotel within the next six-eight weeks.

We have already added new innovations like free drinks for every room, which we replace every 24 hours; and this something you won’t find anywhere in the country,” Mr. Mamphey added.
