Affordable houses across Ghana ready to let – State Housing MD

The Managing Director of State Housing Company, Nana Appiah Ampofo has announced that majority of the affordable houses built across the country are ready and are available to be sold and rented out, ABC News has gathered.

Nana Appiah Ampofo in an interview on Thursday indicated that, as part of President Akufo-Addo’s vision to improve housing in Ghana and drastically reduce the housing deficit in the country, plans have been implemented to build affordable houses across Ghana.

This vision has led to the completion of most of these affordable houses which are ready to be rented or sold out although some are still at various levels of completion.

The MD of the State Housing Company explained that, “State Housing Company has started building houses and Estates. When you go to Tamale, Northen Region, houses of STC are available for persons who wants to buy a house there.

Some of the affordable houses are available in Sunyani. With Kumasi, the John Agyekum Kuffour estate was started last year, by God’s grace some of the houses are ready for people who want to purchase some. In Accra also, there are some at Adenta. We have apartments and four bedrooms ready. Cape Coast also we have some of the beautiful houses built there. If you are from the area and you want to stay there, we have rooms that are available.”
