Airtel appoints Legal and Corporate Affairs Director

Airtel Ghana has announced the appointment of Hannah Agbozo as Director of Legal and Corporate Affairs.

Hannah brings with her a wealth of telecoms experience and has managed the legal and regulatory affairs function within the company since 2008.

She will have overall responsibility for Airtel Ghana’s corporate communications, CSR and external affairs functions in addition to the legal and regulatory function of the company.

Commenting on the appointment, Lucy Quist, Managing Director of Airtel Ghana, said “Hannah’s intimate knowledge and understanding of telecommunications, government regulation and the wider public policy agenda will assist Airtel Ghana to enhance mutually-beneficial relationships
with our external stakeholders to achieve business objectives. Her new role will also support our delivery of first class services and products that enable our customers to enjoy a greater experience on the network”.

Lucy Quist added: “Airtel Ghana is moving into a new phase of its journey, as the business matures and develops. Hannah’s wealth of experience will be instrumental on this journey”.

Hannah, an accomplished legal practitioner, brings 15 years of legal and regulatory experience to the position. She joined the company in 2008 from Nestlé Central and West Africa, where she was Legal and Tax Manager. She had earlier practiced law for several years with Bentsi-Enchill, Letsa and Ankomah a private law firm. Hannah is an alumnus of the University of Ghana and the Ghana School of Law. She holds a Master of Laws (LLM) in Information Technology and Telecommunications Law from the University of Strathclyde, Glasgow, and a Master in Business Administration (MBA) from Colorado State University, Fort Collins, Colorado.
