“In our quest to reach out to the unserved and underserved, we are doing everything possible to serve our growing customer base; not just in service, but to excite them.

Therefore, we are reshaping our approach to filling in the gaps and managing shortfalls inherent in the industry.

“Our intention is to build a world-class bank of Ghanaian origin,” he added.

“At BEIGE Capital, we have articulated a clear strategy to become the SME bank of choice in the country.

“This is no ‘pie in the sky’ talk.

We are deliberately and gradually making our presence, our services and products available to the people of Ghana.

We have put in place robust systems that demonstrate our commitment to the success of our customers,” Mr. Adu Labi said.

The Head of Banking Supervision at the Bank of Ghana, Raymond Amanfu, advised the company to cushion its customers against challenges and mishaps.

“As you expand your outlets, there is a likelihood of increased technological risk associated with your IT infrastructure.

You must have a robust IT system that is very responsive to your needs.

You must make a conscious effort to protect your IT infrastructure against both internal and external intrusion, by offering training for staff on IT security and cybercrime prevention and detection,” he noted.
