The Monetary Policy Committee (MPC) of Bank of Ghana (BoG) has reduced the policy rate to 25.5 per cent.
This comes after the policy rate has been kept at 26 % for months.
The Central Bank Governor, Dr Abdul-Nashiru Issahaku, attributed the reduction of 50 basis point to the cedi’s stabilization and the recent drop in inflation in the country.
