M.anifest, real name Kwame Ametepee Tsikata made it on to the list of Ghana’s most influential business leaders under the age of 40; which was compiled by Business World Magazine.
Sure, his grandfather is of one of Africa’s foremost ethnomusicogists J.H Kwabena Nketia, and he recollects being privy to a breadth of African music from the old man – but M.anifest, born Kwame Ametepee Tsikata, has music talent and skills in his own right.
In 2012, BBC’s arts programme, The Strand (radio) tipped him as one of four acts to look out for in 2012. The following year, he won Best Rapper of the Year and Hip-Hop Song of the Year at the 2013 Ghana Music Awards.
