Considered to be the “OSCARS” for African entrepreneurs, the “Africa Awards for Entrepreneurship” has grown into the most prestigious business and entrepreneurship awards programme in Africa.

The OUTSTANDING GROWING BUSINESS AWARD provides a US$ 50,000 prize to a young remarkable African business.

Mango Media’s flagship publication, Business World’s magazine, currently in its sixth year, is Ghana’s foremost business magazine and winner of the country’s most prestigious “Business Magazine of the Year” award in 2012 and 2013. It has grown to become the leading medium for delivering concise financial and economic information targeted at Ghana’s business community, through its print and online publications.

The Africa Awards for Entrepreneurship, in its eighth year since inception, has attracted more than 7,000 applications from African businesses and awarded prizes of over US$ 1.6 million to 30 Leading Entrepreneurs.

The Africa Awards for Entrepreneurship gala ceremony is annually hosted by African Leadership Network (ALN) the continent’s premier community of dynamic and influential new generation leaders.

The 2014 gala will be held in conjunction with the ALN’s fifth annual gathering in Kigali, Rwanda from 5th to 8th November.

With 1,200 influential members from over 45 African countries, ALN’s single mission is to promote prosperity by building pan-African relationships and collaborations to unlock game-changing opportunities across the continent.
