Communication technology will become easier- Comm. Minister designate

Newly appointed Minister-designate for Communication Ursula G. Owusu-Ekuful says if, given the nod, government would look at creative ways making communication technology easier for Ghanaians

Speaking to media after her nomination, she promised to work tirelessly to facing challenges that impede the progress of the communication sector

“There are huge opportunities in the communication technology, in marketing , learning , health and there is the need to solve few hurdles for progressive growth in the sector”

she further added that government will employ any means possible to make communication technologies more easier for businesses and the Ghanaian populace.

Bio

Ursula owusu, 52 is a lawyer, women right, gender advocate and a media analyst.

She holds BI; LLB and is a member of Ghana Bar Association

She has served in various capacities in the country including Managing Consultant at N. U Consult Legal and Governance and Gender consultants

She has also been Director of Vodafone Ghana Company Limited since October, 2014

She is an executive member of International Federation of Women Lawyers (FIDA) Ghana, member of Women in Law and Development in Africa (WILDAF) Ghana and African Women Lawyers Associations (AWLA)Ghana

She is a product of Labone Senior high school and University of Ghana
