dre aviation appointed Airport and Ops provider for Meridian Fly

dre aviation has been officially appointed by Meridiana Fly as its airport and operational provider.

Meridiana Fly is to start flying to Ghana and Nigeria from their Malpensa, Milan base from July 19, 2016 with an initial once weekly service.

The increased competition should be good news for consumers as this increases offerings into London and other monopoly point to point routes from Ghana, which should see fares fall. At present, there is no direct connection to Italy from Nigeria or Ghana.

dre aviation confirmed that they will be supporting the Meridiana Fly operations in Both Nigeria and Ghana.

“We are very excited by this prospect and look forward to connecting the West African diaspora in Italy back to their homelands, we look forward to lower fares and an extra avenue into Europe and the USA for the African traveler.

It is very good news indeed,” dre aviation said in a statement.

Tickets will go on sale next week and heavy demand is expected as Meridiana Fly are renowned for competitive pricing of their fares and an excellent inflight service.
