First Atlantic Bank opens 3rd branch in Kumasi

First Atlantic Bank has opened its third branch in Kumasi, located at the Central Business District, with the view of bringing its services closer to customers in the area.

The bank, which has been in existence for about 20 years, has 19 branches, with the hope to scale up to 30 by the end of the year.

“The opening of the third branch in Kumasi is to demonstrate the commitment of the bank in doing business with Asanteman,” Mr Ben Barth, the director of the bank, said.

Mr Daniel Addo, the executive director of the bank, said it was the greatest vision of the bank to become the bank of choice for transactions, especially within Ghana and the West Africa sub-region.

In view of that, he said the bank was positioning itself as a conduit for investment flows into Ghana while leading in the development of agency banking and the use of electronic and other alternative channels to promote financial inclusion with the mindset of facilitating international trade and promoting trade within and between African countries.

According to him, the bank had set broad objectives to create an institution that competes effectively in the local and sub-regional financial marketplace in a manner that showcases the best of the collective talents.

Pledging the bank’s readiness to partner with small- and medium-scale enterprises, he said the bank’s propositions were geared towards identifying customer needs and expectation, as well as providing value-adding solutions for those needs.

The Akyimpemhene, Oheneba Aduse Poku, asked First Atlantic Bank to prioritize customer care and offer innovative products.
