GCB shareholders gets 33 pesewas dividend

 

Shareholders of GCB Bank will be smiling all the way to the bank following an announcement of a 33 pesewas per share to all shareholders.

This is in respect of the 2015 financial year where the bank made sterling performance.

But the dividend must be approved by the investors at the bank’s Annual General Meeting (AGM) on May 27, 2016.

In this regard, members registered in the books of GCB at the close of business on May 13, 2016 will qualify for the payment of the final dividend.

The ex-dividend date has however been set as May 11, 2016.

Consequently, an investor purchasing GCB shares before this date will be entitled to the final dividend. An investor buying GCB shares on or after May 11, 2016 will not be entitled to the final dividend.

The final dividend will be paid on June 20, 2016.

GCB is presently trading at GH¢3.5 per share on the Ghana Stock Exchange.
