Hanergy Oil launches energy-saving device

Hanergy Oil Ghana Ltd. has introduced a new product to the market that is claimed could save up to 38 percent of electricity consumed by households and industry.

The device, known as Ultra Energy according to the Chief Operating Officer (COO) Hugh Aryee, is the first of its kind ever and offers the company a competitive advantage over its competitors.

“We are the first user of this technology in the world, and we have not yet seen any other company come out with this patent technology.

So I can say that Hanergy Oil has the competitive advantage of being the only company offering these products and services,” he said.

He added that the Ultra devices have economic and environmental benefits in the form of reducing bills for electricity consumers.

“Our devices can save energy of up to 38 percent, and that means the country can produce optimum power that will be able to serve all citizens — and even leave some for exports. Individuals will also benefit as the cost of electricity will go down significantly.

For example, if you consume GHC200 of power every month, and we install an Ultra device for you, the GHC200 spent on electricity every month will now last for 43 days, and that is a lot of savings,” he said.

Ultra Energy management equipment is a revolutionary new technology device that uses electromagnetic wave energy to realign electrons to spin in an alternative current, thereby providing optimisation for energy usage.

Information on the company’s website has it that global electricity consumption and costs continue to increase year after year.

Governments, organisations and individuals are increasingly faced with an urgent need to reduce energy consumption and costs while ensuring key business processes remain unaffected.

According to Hanergy, it is for this reason the company has introduced the energy saving device that seeks to provide a simple environmental solution which delivers financial savings and reduces environmental impacts.

“Decreasing energy consumption is now not only a moral responsibility in terms of protecting the environment, but with energy prices rising rapidly it is an economic necessity. Ultra’s power-saving performance significantly reduces electricity costs in pricing current electrical systems,” the website states.

Mr. Aryee further stated that apart from the business interest of the company, Hanergy Oil has an objective of creating employment for the youth in order to address some of the unemployment challenges in the country.

“Our business is here to provide sustainable growth; we are not only in to make money but also to provide jobs.

We are currently training over 900 electricians nationwide, and also training sales agents who will work on a commission basis.

So by doing this we will be contributing our quota to growth of the economy,” Mr. Aryee said.Hanergy Oil Ghana Ltd. is an indigenous Ghanaian company with affiliate partners all over the world.

The company’s aims and objectives revolve around operating in the downstream petroleum sector through the lifting and supply of petroleum and gas-related products.

The company is based in Tema and offers trained and qualified technicians to install the devices in the homes and offices of people when they make purchases.

Prices of the energy saving devices ranges from GHC1,527 for domestic use to GHC200,000 for commercial usage.Hanergy Oil Limited is present in 84 countries including six African countries — Senegal, Ivory Coast, Egypt, South Africa, Sudan and recently Ghana, where it is poised to establish a significant presence.
