Lumia 640 XL hits market

Microsoft Mobile Devices has announced the availability of Lumia 640 XL smartphones on the market.

The latest device to join the Lumia portfolio, the Lumia 640 XL, offers more personal computing and increased productivity through seamlessly integrated Microsoft Office experiences, OneDrive  storage, and fast 4G connectivity.  The Lumia 640 XL will upgrade to and benefit from Windows 10 as it becomes available on the market.
Lumia 640 XL is a dual-SIM that is smooth and quick to access important documents or run all of your favourite websites, apps and games through its on-board 1GB of memory and powerful quad core Qualcomm Snapdragon processor.

Introducing the Smartphone, the Head of Marketing, Microsoft Mobile Devices & Services, West Africa, Mr. Olumide Balogun explained that the phone comes with the latest version of windows Phone 8.1 and the Lumia Denim update which has a complete one-swipe Action Centre, Word Flow and Live Folders.

He said the Lumia 640 XL can capture rich photos even in low light, with the help of its 13 MP cameras on the phone and with its LED flash.

Additionally, he said, the Lumia 640 XL offers the consumer opportunity view photos and watch videos on a crisp 5.7” HD display, and it has a long-lasting 3000 mAh battery that helps the consumer to enjoy 24 hours of talk time.

It also gives the consumer up-to-date features through its regular update of Windows including the benefits of Windows 10 services.
