Motorola launches G5S, G5S Plus smartphones

Motorola has added two more smartphones to its G5 line: the G5S and G5S Plus.

The two new devices feature bigger displays, better cameras, and more powerful processors than the original G5s, which were released back in March.

The Moto G5S features a 5.2-inch 1080p display, a 1.4GHz octa-core processor, a 16MP rear camera, and a 3,000mAh battery, which are all improvements over its predecessor.

The G5S Plus comes with a 5.5-inch 1080p display, dual 13MP rear cameras with a portrait mode, and an 8MP wide-angle front camera.

The rest of the specifications for both devices mirror the original G5s, with metal unibody designs, up to 4GB of RAM, and up to 64GB of storage.

While the original Moto 65 and G5 Plus started at €199 and €229, respectively, the G5S and G5S Plus will retail for €249 and €299, respectively, when they hit shelves this month.
