The Monetary Policy Committee (MPC) of the Bank of Ghana will from next week Friday January, 20 commence its 74th meetings to review developments in the economy.
The meetings will end with a press conference on Monday 23, to announce the decision of the Committee on the appropriate positioning of the Bank’s policy rate which Commercial banks use to determine their base rates.
The policy rate was reduced by 50 points basis to 25.5% during their last meeting in November.
