Pioneer Students Of Nduom University Get GH₵10,000 Each As Seed Money To Start Their Own Business

President of Groupe Nduom, Dr Papa Kwesi Nduom has given pioneering students of the Nduom School of Business and Technology a seed money of GHs 10,000 each to start their own business.

The university which offers three programs, BSc. Banking and Finance, BSc. Information Technology Management for Business and BSc. Information and Communication Technology was accredited by the National Accreditation board to begin operations in November 2017.

Dr. Nduom made this disclosure on Monday, April 23, 2018 during an exclusive interview on Eezy FM’s Morning Edition, emphasizing the generous gesture was to offer the pioneer students a superior unique experience.

He noted “We want to give them a superior unique experience”

“We are asking them to form a company, appoint their general manager, accountant, public relations officer, marketing officer and I am giving them capital;

According to Dr. Ndoum, he expects them to come up with an idea assuring them of the full support of the Board of Directors who will be ready to supervise their work

Dr. Nduom stated that, the rationale for having another tertiary institution, Nduom School of Business and Technology which is part of Nduom University, is to provide practical based and an experience-based education.

He further disclosed that the students would automatically qualify for practicals, internships, vacation jobs at any of Groupe Nduom’s subsidiaries and receive tutelage from General Managers of the Groupe.

The university is located at Ayensudo in the Komenda-Edina-Eguafo-Abirem (KEEA) Municipality in the Central Region.

The university sits on a 100-acre land has lecture halls, an administration block, a cafeteria, a library and an auditorium.
