ADB extends Saturday Banking nationwide

 

Agriculture Development Bank (ADB) has announced to provide Saturday banking services in all ten regions in the country, starting July 4, 2016.

This according to management is in line with the effort to “satisfy the bank’s customers”  by making its services accessible and convenient.

Already 13 branches provide this service and the inclusion of the 43 brings the total to 56 the number of branches engaged in Saturday banking business.

The selected branches are; Greater Accra: ADB House Makola , Tema Main , Tema Meridian, Achimota, Ridge, Spintex , Kokordzor, Mankoadze  , Osu , Tema East (Ashaiman) , Teshie and  Accra New Town, Northern region: Aboabo, Yendi , Western region: Agona Nkwanta , Takoradi, Sefwi Wiawso, Brong-Ahafo Region, Sunyani , Berekum, Techiman, Dormaa Ahenkro, Upper West: Wa, Upper East: Bolgatanga , Bawku ,Navrongo.

Others are Central Region : Cape Coast , Assin Fosu , Mankessim, Volta Region : Ho , Hohoe , Kpando , Denu, Sogakope, Nkwanta, Eastern Region, Nkawkaw , Suhum, Ashanti Region:  Adum, Nyiaeso, Kumasi Market , Bekwai , Obuasi , Prempeh II Street,  New Edubiase and Ejisu (Sunday).

The branches will be operating from 9:00 am to 2:00 pm except for the first Saturdays of the month (National Sanitation Day) with opening hours being 11:00am to 3:00 pm.

According to the Managing Director, Mr. Daniel Asiedu the expansion of the Bank’s Saturday Banking is in response to “new business opportunities and the wish of management to satisfy the Bank’s customers across the country”

“We want to ensure that both our existing and prospective customers enjoy the best banking services at all times hence our decision to increase the number from the present 13 to 56,” he said.

He further disclosed that from 4th July this year the Bank has also extended its Monday-Friday opening duration from 8:00am to 5:00pm.
