SIC Board Chair resigns

The Board Chairperson of SIC Insurance has resigned, barely a year after she was appointed.

Her resignation took effect from September 30.

Felicity Acquah resigned on the grounds of extensive commitments that will hinder her unrelenting performance on the board.

An emergency meeting by the board appointed one of its members, Dr Sydney Laryea as acting chairman.

The former Eximguaranty Ghana boss was appointed in November last year after she succeeded Max Cobina, who stepped down following some labour agitations from union workers.
