TAP offers reduced fares on Accra-Lisbon route

TAP Portugal, the national flag-carrier of Portugal, is offering passengers reduced fares on the Accra-Lisbon route for the upcoming festive season.

Under the airline’s AP Advance Purchase programme, travellers can enjoy fares as low as US$888 in economy class if they book their flights 14 days ahead.

The Lisbon-based airline, which operates flights from Accra to Lisbon with onward connections to several destinations in Europe, North and South America, and Africa, is also offering special fares in Business Class starting from US$2,233.

TAP is the leading Portuguese airline; it has been flying since 1945 and has been a member of the Star Alliance since March 2005.

Its Lisbon hub is a key European gateway at the crossroads of Africa and North and South America.

TAP is the number-one airline between Europe and Brazil, and by the summer of 2014 its network had grown to fly 11 new routes.

Currently, the Portuguese airline has connections to 84 destinations in 35 countries. It operates an average of around 2,500 flights a week and has a fleet of 77 modern aircraft.

The company’s Portuguese character, brand and the quality of service as a basic concept have been the main factors driving TAP’s strategy over recent years, and which have been justified by the many awards it has won from national and international bodies.
