Total launches B2C Total Card

 

Total Petroleum Ghana has launched the Business to Customer (B2C) Total Card in Accra in response to the growing demands of its fuel card services

The service which was for corporate clients, has now been extended to individuals and commercial customers to provide them with simple and innovative ways to make payments and monitor fuel usage as well

Speaking at the launch, Managing Director (MD) of Total Petroleum Ghana, Olivier Van-Parys disclosed the firm is concentrating on improving the quality of services through innovation to attract more customers.

“We at Total Ghana are driven by the power of innovation with the move which gives us a competitive advantage over our competitors and also making the service available to many Ghanaians as we can is our pride,” the MD said.

He added that, the company is committed to “continuously invest in the Ghanaian market” because they believe in the people of Ghana

Sales & Marketing Manager of Total, Mrs. Adesuwa Adewole, explained that, the ‘B2C’ fuel card provides users a simple and smart way of controlling and monitoring fuel consumption of their vehicles and also offer customers to access other services within the 235 Total Service Stations across Ghana.

“The card has a chip in it which enables users to download information from the central office so they don’t have to move physically,” she added.

She however urged all customers to go to any of the company’s fuel stations across the country, sign up, top up for an instant bonus on every value above GH¢20.”

The Deputy Minister for Petroleum, Mr Benjamin Dagadu,  lauded Total Ghana for the initiative and assured players in the oil industry of government’s commitment to continue creating the enabling environment to foster further growth in the sector.

“It is for the purpose of growing the industry through competition that government deregulated the downstream sector,” the Deputy Minister stated.
