Union Savings and Loans now Omnibank

OMNIBANKUnion Savings and Loans, an indigenous financial institution has officially launched its new brand name ‘Omnibank’ following acquisition of full universal banking license from the central bank.

The launch, which coincided with opening of its ultra-modern  East-Legon branch was held in a colourful ceremony in Accra Thursday November 24, 2016.

Speaking at the launch, the Managing Director of Omnibank, Mr. Philip Oti-Mensah who was filled with joy, attributed the company’s success story to the staff  commitment and dedication to excellent services

The company in the past years has won over 10 prestigious awards including 3 awards  in customer service excellence and 3 Ghana club 100 awards.

By December 2015, the company was number one Savings and Loans company in Ghana and attained provisional universal banking license two years before target

Under its new status, Philip Oti-mensah assured customers  that, the bank will continue to serve the SME sector by offering  “rapid and exceptional banking services to clients through competent employees, extensive delivery channels and technology”

Omnibank aims to achieving three billion cedis deposit portfolio, one million customer accounts and become a second quartile bank by 2020

Among the dignitaries who graced the occasion were the Governor of Bank of Ghana, Dr. Abdul Nashiru Issahaku, Chief of Staff Julius Debrah, MP for Kpone Katamanso Nii Laryea Afotey Agbo among others.
